A Concert musician, author and composer, Sherif, a multiple international prize winner, accomplished the Platinum Absolute First Prize in the World Master Open Music Competition, the Gold First Prize of the Virtuoso International Music Awards, the Platinum Absolute First Prize and the "Artist of the month" special award of the European Classical Music awards, the first prize of the "London Classical Music Competition", the first prize winner of the 4th Lugano International Music Competition, the Diamond prize of the Royal VanBach International Music Competition , the Silver prize at the International Moscow Music Competition, the Silver prize at New York International Music Competition, the Silver prize of the "International Mozart Competition Vienna", four Platinum Absolute First Prize in Composition,Baroque music, Modern Music and Professional Category and the Distinguished Creativity Special Award from the World Grand Prix International Music Contest, and the 2023 EMA music award. He is the 2022 unanimous first prize laureate of the “Diplôme de Concert”, and the 2017 “Diplôme de Virtuosité” as the highest artistic honour from the Schola Cantorum (Master of Arts) under the guidance of Maestro Pascal Boels (interpretation), Maestro Jean Pierre Wallez (chamber music), Maestro Narcis Bonet and Maestro Michel Denis (harmony, analysis, orchestral conducting). In 2009, after obtaining his performance diploma from the London Royal School. He moved to Paris on a scholarship from Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. Between 2009 and 2015, he worked consecutively with Maestro François Martin and Tania Chagnot for his Brevet d’exécution, and Diplome d’exécution. Dahroug's musical oeuvre transcends traditional genres, encompassing everything from neo-impressionism to the sound design of theatrical plays. His compositions display remarkable versatility in both style and form. Sherif's most recent releases for 2023-2024 include "Hiérakonpolis," "Abydos," "ATUM," and "Eirene - Old Comedy!". Having embarked on an unconventional path, the artist earned a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Hydrodynamics with honors in 2006, before dedicating himself to the pursuit of music. Since 2018, he has authored articles exploring philosophy, arts and astronomy in ancient Egypt.
