routy

Routy Music composed and interpreted by Sherif Dahroug, Lyre de Mercure At the sacred moment of balance—when light does not overpower shadow, nor does darkness consume the glow—the universe unveils a secret gateway between worlds. It is the cosmic equilibrium, the breath that realigns the rhythm of time. In this eternal passage, where every departure is but a promise of return and every beginning an unfading light, music pulses like a story whispered between dream and wakefulness, between absence and reunion. Routy, the latest musical work by Sherif Dahrouj, produced by the French music house Lyre de Mercure, is a hymn to Shu and Tefnut—the first breath of existence, the luminous echoes of Atum cast into the abyss of Nun, that boundless sea of silence where the line between the unknown and the possible dissolves. Lost in the depths, time trembled in their absence, and the cosmos ached with longing. Yet Atum’s searching eye, ablaze with sorrow and power, pierced the void to bring them home. When Shu and Tefnut returned to the primordial embrace, the universe quivered with the first laughter of joy, and life poured forth onto the thirsty earth—like a lotus blooming upon the chest of eternity, carrying an undying promise. In the Temple of Esna, where the echoes of the first breath still resonate, Shu rises as the breeze upon the horizon, and Tefnut flows as the tear of eternity. Between them, music pulses—a sacred harmony, the rhythm of creation reborn in the eternal cycle of transformation. Routy—where melodies entwine with the breath of creation, and music becomes the wellspring of life before every metamorphosis.
